Clear, Practical Communication for Providers
We make it easier for accommodation providers to share essential accessibility details, ensuring every guest feels welcome and supported.
Supporting Informed Booking Decisions
Our goal is to enhance the holiday experience by gathering the vital details guests need to confidently decide if a home suits their individual access needs.
Equipment Compatibility Checks
Assessments include trialing basic accessibility equipment, like over-toilet frames or shower chairs, to ensure it fits and functions safely within the property.
Optional Equipment Hire
On request, we offer short-term hire of basic mobility equipment, reducing the burden on travellers to bring their own gear.

Hi, I’m Sarah – an Occupational Therapist, business owner and co-founder of Accessible Holiday Homes.
I graduated from Curtin University with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
My career has been primarily focused on working in both residential care and as a mobile clinician in the community. I have worked in a significant variety of homes within metro and regional locations. I haven't seen it all, but I have seen a lot!
When I’m not working, you’ll find me out enjoying the incredible Southwest lifestyle with my fiancé Geoff and our dog Sonny. Spending time with loved ones and surfing with friends brings me joy.
Margaret River has been my home since a child and I am actively involved in my community. By making connections and speaking to people with lived experience, I quickly realised that getting accurate access information was still a real issue for many holiday makers when booking accommodation.
I want to change this.
Together with my business partner Rich, we want Accessible Holiday Homes to be a reflection of our clinical experience, community spirit, core values and passion for travel.

Hi, I’m Rich – a senior physiotherapist and co-founder of Accessible Holiday Homes.
After graduating in England in 2010, I built a broad physiotherapy career across NHS hospitals, community health, and sports rehabilitation.
While working in London, I met my wife Cath, and after a couple of years of travelling, she introduced me to Margaret River. I immediately fell in love with the natural beauty and community spirit of the South West - we now feel incredibly fortunate to call this region home.
Since settling in Australia, I’ve worked in the disability (NDIS) and aged care sectors, which opened my eyes to the daily challenges people face when navigating environments that aren’t designed with accessibility in mind. This experience fuelled a passion to go beyond the clinic and create change in the community - leading to the founding of Accessible Holiday Homes with experienced Occupational therapist Sarah.
Our mission is simple: to make inclusive travel a reality - where everyone, regardless of ability, can enjoy a relaxing and stress-free holiday.
Outside of work I enjoy exploring the beautiful South West with my wife and kids, volunteering with the local fire brigade, pushing my limits at CrossFit, or getting out on the golf course.
